Blacklight reactive ink is a great way to have a tattoo that no one can see but under the blacklight or to add a little something special to trip out your friends.
Really how safe is Chameleon Blacklight Tattoo Ink?
Given its extensive testing of FDA approval, with absolutely no adverse reactions to it in over ten years, it is all in the proof, this ink is most likely the safest ink on the market.

Here is the bottom line: from Crazychameleonbodyartsupply.com

- It contains NO phosphors
- It is NOT radio active
- It DOES NOT contain EverGlow
- It does NOT cause cancer
- It has FDA approval as a Spectral Marking [tattoo] Pigment that was developed for use in tracking [tattooing] animals and fish - and yes the same ones we eat, and has been tested and used with NO adverse reaction in humans for over 10 years.
- the florescent dye is completely safe and has NO carcinogen and is human safe and does not spread or “blow out” because the dye is contained and it never even touches the skin because of

That's pretty sweet. Now I want one. Very cool. I want the skeleton hands like the first pic. It would hurt like a sonofabitch, but it would be so cool.

I guess they've been around for a while, although it's news to me.

Must be a bit of a challenge for the tattoo artist:

there is a stall that does these every year at Reading/Leeds festival in the UK. Usually they just do band logos that are playing that weekend for about £15 each, but the skeleton one at the top looks shibbeh.

I'd love me a bio-mechanical tattoo with some UV in it.

I really hope they dye is completely safe and has NO carcinogens. I remember talking years ago to my tattoo artist about blacklight tattoo's and at that time they could use the ink because it caused cancer.
So my friend got a "white" tattoo which would do the same thing in blacklight though it doesn't have that florescent "glow"

My friend has 2 blacklight tats. They're pretty cool. I love anything that glows so having new ink that glows would be awesome.

Will uses blacklight ink at the tat shop. Some people use it alone and some to highlight tats they already have. He used it on himself for awhile before trying it out on the public. No one we know has had any problems with it. He did one of Dimebag Darrell on his leg that can only be seen under a blacklight. It's pretty cool. I haven't tried it yet, but.......you never know. :D *considers glowing*
